This planchet had a 10% curved clip before the coin was struck. What is called the "Blakesley Effect", a weakness opposite the clip is minimal but apparent. This signifies a true clip and not a post mint con. About 50% mint luster remains on the obverse but much less on the reverse. Good starter for the new error collector.
