Spanish copper cobs dated in the 1600's. Some claim these as pirate or shipwreck treasure. We call BS on that. These are cleaned and mostly dated and were probably dug up by some fortune hunter, farmer or amateur archaeologist. They are all counter stamped and revalued as 8 maravedis, a victim of inflation. Dates range from 1641 to 1658. The broken one is undateable but has nice detail none-the-less.
